Savings figures are modeled illustrations for a representative client at each income band, based on 2026 federal figures. They are not a guarantee, a projection of your result, or a report of past client outcomes — your actual savings depend on your income, entity, state and circumstances. The $675 structure review produces the real number for you.
Pay in full and save 6% on Foundation, 8% on Strategic, or 10% on Legacy. Tax return preparation, entity formation, payroll setup and other services are priced separately — see the complete fee schedule, including the $675 structure review that is credited back in full toward any tier.
Elizabeth Popp, EA
Elizabeth is an Enrolled Agent — a tax specialist licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS in all 50 states — and holds dual master’s degrees in accounting and financial management. As the founder of Prosperity Management & Tax Services, she has built a practice dedicated to the professionals large firms overlook: S-corporation owners, CRNAs, and entrepreneurs who need real strategy, not just a filed return.
Her approach is simple: understand the whole picture, plan before the year ends, document everything, and treat every client's business like her own. Based in the greater Houston area, she serves clients across the country.
1099 Clinician Tax Estimator
Enter your net 1099 income and your state. You'll see your estimated self-employment tax, what each quarterly payment should be, and how much an S-corporation election could save you. Built on 2026 federal figures.
Your numbers
Nothing is stored or sent until you choose to request the detailed breakdown.
Your 1099 revenue minus deductible business expenses.
W-2 wages or other income taxed with yours.
Clinical income is personal-service income, so the IRS expects a substantial salary. A documented compensation study sets the defensible figure.
Your quarterly estimated payments
Payroll tax saved by paying yourself a reasonable salary and taking the remainder as a distribution, after the added cost of running an S-corp.

This estimator uses 2026 federal figures: the $184,500 Social Security wage base, 2026 brackets and standard deduction, and the 20% qualified business income deduction with its specified-service phase-out, which applies to most clinicians. State tax is an approximation based on a representative effective rate and does not reflect local taxes, credits, itemized deductions, retirement contributions, or other income. It is an educational estimate, not tax advice, and it is not a substitute for a return or a planning engagement.

What is an Enrolled Agent, and how is that different from a CPA?
An Enrolled Agent (EA) is licensed directly by the U.S. Treasury and specializes exclusively in taxation. EAs have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS in every state. While CPAs cover a broad range of accounting services, an EA's entire practice is focused on tax — which is exactly what strategic planning requires.
Should I become an S-corporation?
It depends — and that's the honest answer. An S-election can create meaningful payroll tax savings at the right income level, but it also adds payroll, compliance, and reasonable compensation requirements. On your discovery call, we'll run your actual numbers before recommending anything.
How does payroll work with your firm?
We handle the setup: designing your compensation strategy — including a defensible reasonable compensation figure for S-corp owners — selecting the payroll company best suited to your size, states, and budget, and getting you registered and configured correctly. Ongoing payroll then runs through that provider, while we make sure the numbers always match the plan we built.
Do you work with clients outside of Texas?
Yes. As an Enrolled Agent, Elizabeth is federally licensed and serves clients in all 50 states. Meetings are held virtually, and the entire engagement — documents, signatures, and delivery — is handled through a secure digital process.
Do you prepare returns for nonprofits?
Yes. We prepare the Form 990 series for 501(c)(3) organizations and other exempt entities, and we help boards understand what the IRS expects so your tax-exempt status stays protected. If your organization is behind on filings or unsure which 990 applies, that's a perfect topic for a discovery call.
When is the best time to start tax planning?
Now. Most tax-saving strategies must be implemented before December 31 to count for the current year. The earlier in the year we start, the more options are on the table — waiting until filing season means most opportunities have already expired.
